[notice] Postknight 2 Early Access – FAQ

Q1. When is the next update?

 

We plan to release new content updates once a month. For the first few months, updates will focus on bug fixes and performance improvements. Eventually, new content and features will be rolled out monthly.

 

Q2. When is Postknight 2’s full release?

 

We expect a full release in Late 2021. The team is excited to deliver Postknight 2 as soon as possible but we want to make it a memorable experience for you at full release. To do that, your feedback and some time are needed to improve the game.

 

Q3. Can I play Postknight 2 on iOS now?

 

Yes, you can! Postknight 2 Early Access is available through the TestFlight app. You must register through the form and wait to receive your invitation. Sign up for iOS TestFlight here.

 

Q4. Will the performance and loading speeds be improved?

 

Yes, we will improve them as best we can. We are aware of the long loading times and performance issues and are working hard on them. Expect to see improvements in the next update. We are committed to optimising the game’s performance up to Postknight 2’s full release.

 

Q5. Will my save data from Postknight 1 be transferable to Postknight 2?

 

Postknight 1 and Postknight 2 are completely independent of each other. Save data from one won’t be transferable to the other.

 

Q6. Will my Postknight 2 save data carry over from Early Access to the full release?

 

Yes! Any progress made during the Early Access will be carried over to Postknight 2’s full release.

 

Q7. Will Postknight 2 be playable offline?

 

Postknight 2 will only support online play. We will introduce more online social elements as part of the core gameplay in future updates. Stay tuned!

 

Q8. Will there be a way to transfer my progress to another device?

 

Yes. We will add a way to transfer your save data between devices on the same platform (Android or iOS). Eventually, we will also add cross-platform transfers.

 

Q9. Can we sell extra items?

 

We are adding a new feature where villagers would request items and pay you for them. As such, some of your extra items can be exchanged for rewards by villagers who need the items. To keep the economy safe, there won’t be a direct item selling feature.

 

Q10. Pets, please? I miss them!

 

Yes! Pets are in development, but they require more time. Pets will have more functions than they did in Postknight 1.

 

Q11. Can we hide or remove our headgear?

 

Yes! We are introducing a new Fashion feature in an upcoming patch. Through it, you can hide your currently-equipped helmet or replace it with a Fashion item.

 

Q12. Where can we see our Bond Memories again?

 

For now, you can find your collected Bond Memories here: Open your Character Screen > Check the Bottom Right > Select Bonds > Pick a Bond > Check the Bottom Right > Select Memories. We apologise for making this complicated and will improve this in a future patch.

 

Q13. Patch 0.6.1 has no new content or features. What happened?

 

The latest patch focuses on performance improvements and bug fixes. Future features will be huge, so it’s important that we ensure the game is as stable as possible first.

 

Q14. I’ve run out of content to play. When is the next content update?

 

We have plenty of new features and content lined up for our next few patches. Among them… Dungeons to explore, Accessories to upgrade, and Wishboards to help the people. Divisions will also make their return! Etherdawn, Neverwhisk, Pyrodash, which will you join?

 

Q15. I want new areas! When will they be released?

 

We have not one but two areas in development. A magical forest… And a snowy mountain… Both areas will release simultaneously in Patch 1.0.

 

Q16. Patch 1.0? When is the game’s full release date?

 

We are aiming for a full release in 2021. Yes, there aren’t that many months left now, but this also means the wait isn’t too long now. All the Kurechiians are working hard towards the full release!
